A century of trust is not something you replace. It is something you express.
Kelly’s Heating and Air has been family-owned since 1907. It is one of the oldest continuously family-owned heating and cooling companies in America, with a century of loyal customers — some of whom have been with it for 40 years.
They came to us wanting a complete rebrand. They felt their longstanding shamrock logo was disconnected from the HVAC industry and did not represent who they were.
Here was the risk: a brand-new look could erase the very thing that made Kelly’s special. Their history was not a liability. It was their single biggest asset.
You don’t need a new brand. Your brand is great. You need a visual expression of the wonderful brand you’ve already built.
That is what we told them, and it is not what they expected to hear. Then we set out to make a century of substance visible.
We designed a new logo that reads modern but leans into the heritage instead of throwing it away. The goal was a look that feels current while signalling more than 100 years of trust.

We had the family dig through the attic and their records for original photos of the 1907 facility and advertisements from decades past. These were not decorations. They were proof no competitor could ever claim.

Kelly’s requested video testimonials from clients who have trusted them for 40 years and more. A promise of good service is one thing. Four decades of it, in the customer’s own words, is another.
We built a new website designed to surface all of it: the legacy, the archive, the testimonials, and the values behind them.
One story says it best.
A woman had trusted Kelly’s to service her home twice a year for 40 years. At a scheduled appointment, she did not answer the door.
Because Kelly’s knew her so well, they knew immediately that something was wrong. They looked inside, found she had suffered a stroke, and called 911. They saved her life.
That is the brand. Not a slogan. Service, and truly knowing the people you serve.

Search and AI answer engines no longer just match keywords. They look for external validation that a company is credible — real experience, real expertise, a real owner, a real reputation. Google calls it E-E-A-T: Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trust. Engines like ChatGPT and Google’s AI Mode are built to find it and surface it.
Generic content does not clear that bar anymore, and it never will. No amount of AI-generated filler can manufacture a company that has actually served the same community since 1907. That is the whole point — a genuine legacy is the least replicable asset a business can own.
So when we reframed Kelly’s around its history instead of hiding it, we were not just making the brand feel good. We were feeding the exact signals modern search rewards. Ask Google’s AI Mode who the oldest family-owned HVAC companies in Texas are, and Kelly’s is named by the engine itself:
Kelly’s Heating and Air (Lewisville, TX) … has operated under family lineage since 1907, predating nearly every other dedicated heating and tin-work operation in the state.
That is a company being cited, unprompted, as an authority on the very thing that makes it special. You cannot buy that. You earn it over a century — and then you make it visible.
Underneath the algorithm is a human instinct, and it is why this works. When a homeowner sees a company that has been family-owned since 1907, they read a lot into it — and they are right to:
Told well, a legacy communicates quality, honesty, integrity and service — exactly what a homeowner is looking for. It is the rare play that wins with people and with AI at the same time. That is what a real brand does.
Kelly’s almost talked themselves out of their greatest asset. Their instinct was to start over. The win was recognizing that a century of trust is not something you replace; it is something you express.
Our job was to probe in, find the stories, and make the substance visible.
Results like these come from a rare foundation: more than 100 years of earning trust. They are exceptional, not typical.
Your history is an asset, not baggage. Lean into it.
A rebrand should express what earned your reputation, not erase it.
The stories you already have are your most powerful marketing.
Video testimonials from long-time clients build trust nothing else can buy.
Most HVAC companies don’t have a lead problem — they have a system problem. We fix both. SEO, Google Ads, websites, reviews and email work together, not in silos. And you pay Google and Meta what they charge, because we take 0% markup on ad spend.
