Onboarding Deposit & Refund Policy

1. Purpose of the Onboarding Deposit

To initiate onboarding and allocate internal resources, RS Gonzales requires a $500 onboarding deposit at the time of booking the onboarding appointment.

This deposit serves as:

  • A commitment to proceed with services provided by RS Gonzales
  • A scheduling guarantee for dedicated onboarding time
  • A resource allocation fee for pre-onboarding work completed by the RS Gonzales team

Booking the onboarding meeting confirms the client’s intention to move forward with services from RS Gonzales.


2. Application of Deposit Toward First Month Payment

The $500 onboarding deposit:

  • Is not an additional fee
  • Will be credited toward the client’s first month service payment
  • Is included as part of the total first month invoice

For example, if the selected monthly service plan is $3,500, the remaining balance for Month 1 will be $3,000 after the $500 deposit is applied. (The first month’s fee will be pro-rated from the day the contract is signed. The remaining pro-rated fee for the first month will be charged following the onboarding).

3. Pre-Onboarding Work

Upon receipt of the $500 deposit and confirmation of the onboarding appointment, RS Gonzales immediately begins preparatory work, which may include but is not limited to:

  • Market and competitor research
  • Service area and campaign analysis
  • Advertising strategy development
  • Campaign structure planning
  • Internal team alignment and project allocation
  • Technical setup preparation

This work requires coordination across multiple team members prior to the onboarding meeting.


4. No-Show Policy

If the client:

  • Fails to attend the scheduled onboarding meeting without prior notice,
  • Does not attend within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, or
  • Cancels with less than 24 hours’ notice,

The $500 onboarding deposit will be non-refundable.

In such cases:

  • RS Gonzales will not proceed with the onboarding process.
  • RS Gonzales will not charge the remaining balance of the first month.
  • The $500 deposit will be retained as compensation for time, labor, and preparatory work already performed by RS Gonzales.

5. Refund Eligibility

The onboarding deposit is non-refundable once preparatory work has begun, which begins immediately after booking confirmation.

Refunds will only be considered if:

  • RS Gonzales determines, prior to beginning preparatory work, that services cannot be provided to the client.

Outside of this circumstance, the deposit is non-refundable.


6. Rescheduling Policy

Clients may reschedule their onboarding appointment with at least 24 hours’ written notice without forfeiting the deposit.

Rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be treated as a no-show at the sole discretion of RS Gonzales.

If the client wishes to reschedule the onboarding for a later date, RS Gonzales will continue preparatory work until such time as the client is ready to begin onboarding, with the understanding that the first pro-rated month begins at the time the deposit is paid.

If the client cancels or does not show up for the onboarding, does not reschedule the onboarding, and opts not to move forward with services, then the $500 will be retained as compensation for time, labor, and preparatory work already performed by RS Gonzales.


7. Client Acknowledgment

By submitting payment and booking the onboarding appointment, the client acknowledges and agrees that:

  • The client has read and understood this Onboarding Deposit & Refund Policy.
  • The $500 deposit represents a commitment toward entering into a service agreement with RS Gonzales.
  • The deposit will be credited toward the first month of services if services proceed.
  • The deposit will not be refunded in the event of a no-show or late cancellation.
